All articles in the IG&M have undergone both editorial screening and double-anonymized peer review. In almost every case, articles are reviewed by at least two reviewers.

Authors retain copyright and grant the journal right of first publication with the work simultaneously licensed under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International.
Authorship and Ethics
Authors listed on an article must have made a significant contribution to the work reported and have drafted or written, or substantially revised or critically reviewed the article. Authors have agreed to submit to this journal, and have reviewed and agreed on all versions of the article before submission. All authors should agree to take responsibility and be accountable for the contents of the article and to share responsibility to resolve any questions raised about the accuracy or integrity of the published work.
Authors should only submit original work that has neither appeared elsewhere for publication nor is under review for another refereed publication. While the journal enforces trust among its contributors, the journal may perform plagiarism checks.
The journal adheres to COPE Core Practices.
Fees
The journal does not charge author fees or article processing charges.
All content is freely available without charge to the user or his/her institution. Users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles, or use them for any other lawful purpose, without asking prior permission from the publisher or the author.
Long Term Preservation
As part of the journal's long-term digital preservation, papers published using Open Journal Systems are preserved by the PKP Preservation Network.
